Hawaii Emergency Physicians Associated
In 1971, three physicians founded Hawaii Emergency Physicians Associated (HEPA). Their aim was to improve the quality of emergency medical care in the State of Hawaii. Though HEPA’s original founders have since retired, the group continues to thrive and evolve.
Hawaii Radiologic Associates
Hawaii Radiologic Associates, Ltd. is the Big Island of Hawaii’s leading radiology group. With locations on the East and West side of the Big Island, we utilize advanced imaging technology including MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-ray to provide residents and visitors of our island with diagnostic and interventional imaging services. Our mission is to provide quality radiology services with exceptional care to the patients of the Big Island and the highest level of service to our referring physicians.
EPIC
In November 2025 we migrated to Epic as our Electronic Health Record. With an EHR, a patient’s record follows them electronically from the physician’s office, to the hospital, to their home-based care, and to any other place they receive health services. They and their doctors can access all of this information and communicate with a smartphone or computer.
The majority of large hospitals in the state use Epic and with Epic Care Everywhere all of them can share records to ensure the best coordinated care for patients.
Mid Pacific Hospitalists
MidPacific Hospitalists has a team of Board Certified Internal Medicine and Family Practice physicians to care for Hawaii’s inpatients. This team of highly qualified physicians work collaboratively with HEPA physicians to facilitate a seamless hospitalization.
