Hilo Benioff Medical Center’s Hale Ho’ola “House of Healing” is a 12-bed, inpatient psychiatric unit adjacently located to the hospital. Our unit provides around-the-clock care for adults age 18yrs or older experiencing significant mental health symptoms. Hale Ho’ola’s Multi-Disciplinary team will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that will guide your care.  Our highly trained and caring staff will provide evidence based therapeutic interventions and coping strategies to ensure a safe transition to the next level of care. We strive to ensure that all patients depart with a sense of hope and a plan for ongoing treatment to achieve and maintain a better quality of life.
