Patrick Jewell, MD

Biography

Dr. Jewell enjoyed living on the island of Oahu during his childhood and still has family there. Just before moving to the Big Island he was the director of Radiation Oncology services at a Cancer Center located in a beautiful corner of Washington. It made him familiar with the healthcare challenges that people in more remote & rural communities such as Hilo, have to face. He’s excited to practice in the friendly community of patients and healthcare professionals here and looks forward to being part of a team that makes positive impacts in peoples’ lives with effective and compassionate care.
